In the Happy Baby app, you’ll find three different views for your baby’s daily schedule: Now, Today, and Goal. Each one helps you in a different way — depending on what you need in the moment. Here's how to use them:
Now: What matters right now
This is the default view when you open the app — and for a good reason!
What it shows:
Just the last, current, and next activity (e.g. nap, feed, wake window). Why it’s helpful:
You don’t have to scroll through the whole day — just focus on what’s happening now and what’s coming up next. When to use it:
Multiple times a day, for easy check-ins on what’s next in your baby’s rhythm.
Today: A dynamic plan for your baby’s day
This view gives you a full overview of your baby’s day — adjusted in real time.
What it shows:
A full daily schedule based on your baby’s actual wake-up time today, nap lengths, and sleep cues. Why it’s helpful:
Life with a baby is never the same every day. Today adapts your schedule to reflect your baby’s actual day — helping you stay on track while still being flexible. When to use it:
When you want to plan the rest of the day, adjust to changes, or check how naps are shifting.
Goal: Your long-term sleep rhythm
This is your ideal sleep schedule — based on your baby’s age and current sleep averages.
What it shows:
The mid-term plan we’re working toward — the most balanced rhythm for your baby at this stage. Why it’s helpful:
It shows you where things are heading and helps you understand what a consistent, age-appropriate day might look like.Important:
The Goal view does not update based on today’s wake-up or nap times — so it’s not meant for daily use. When to use it:
Occasionally — to understand your baby’s ideal rhythm or to see progress over time.
If you're ever unsure what to follow, just start with Now – it's designed to keep you focused on what matters most in the moment.
? You're doing great – and we’re here to guide you through every step of your baby’s rhythm.
